Concrete Repair Operatives

Job Type: Full time - Permanent

Founded in 2013, RESTEK provides a range of services including concrete structural repairs, composite strengthening, ground remediation and geotechnical solutions through the use of innovative materials, specialist products and techniques.

In January 2021 Restek laid new foundations by becoming an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This transition, has allowed our valued employees to not only own a stake in the business but also be involved in driving Restek forward in the future.

With an increase in revenue of more than 500 per cent over the past five years, the business has quickly grown to be a market leader in specialist concrete repair and ground engineering. We work closely with numerous local authorities and blue-chip companies including Network Rail, Barclays and Highways England to name but a few. Due to this continued and sustained growth and our growing client base, we are now hiring.

We are currently recruiting for experienced Concrete Repair Operatives to join our team, if you have skills & experience in remediation, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Concrete Repair & Ground Remediation
  • Structural Strengthening
  • Waterproofing and leak sealing
  • Rendering & Pointing
  • Crack repair using resin injection & crack stitching techniques
  • Experience with leading manufacturers products such as Sika, Fosroc and similar repair materials
  • Experience in Highways, Rail & Utilities industries advantageous, but not essential

We are currently looking for Concrete Repair Operatives to join our projects team on either an employed or self-employed basis.

Key Skills / Requirements

  • Trade specific CSCS card and other relevant H&S training (SSSTS an advantage)
  • Must be responsible for wearing the correct PPE on site at all times
  • Enthusiastic, positive & a proactive team player
  • Excellent attention to detail skills & takes pride in their work
  • A good timekeeper & efficient worker
  • Be physically fit as practical work is involved
  • Have a valid UK driving license
