Restek would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who visited our stand at Highways UK 2022
Our NEW Restek Concrete & Ground Remediation model caught the eye of many visitors
to our stand E20, at Highways UK. The model tells the full story of Concrete & Ground Remediation in a 360° walk around.
The Story Below Ground:
Scene 1: Initial GPR survey to identify voids & loose-ground
Scene 2: Our value engineered process of void & permeation grouting through resin injection begins
Scene 3: Void & permeation grouting is complete & under slab void grouting is shown
Scene 4: GPR validation of Restek’s ground remediation process is complete
The Story Above Ground:
While one story of Restek’s ground remediation process is being told beneath the ground. The surface, above ground tells a different story of concrete remediation, that includes tunnel and station repairs by resin injection
plus surface cleaning by Doff (Heated) high pressure water and Quill (Dustless) blasting. The stations & tunnels are transformed from rundown and dirty (Scene 1 & 2) to clean and rejuvenated (Scene 3& 4).
The Highways UK Discussion Panel:
Highways UK, for the second year running, chose our Technical Director – Alan Perry to be the moderator & speaker for the discussion panel, on the topic of “Harnessing innovation for sustainable, durable roads for the future”
Some of the key topics discussed were SME’s presenting their innovations to the right people and how to get new innovations through the system quicker by working together. The discussion concluded with an audience Q&A session and the whole discussion was very well received by the audience members who attended.
The Restek team made some great connections at Highways UK & our stand throughout the show received really positive feedback.
We’ve already booked Highways UK 2023, so we’ll see you all again next year!
